The Mariposa Museum will host participatory dancing led by Mary DesRosiers. “Family Dance” will include Quebequois dances as well as traditional dances from Scotland and the north of England. Pianist, Conor Sleith, and fiddler, Neil Orzechowski will provide the musical accompaniment. Adults, seniors and families young and old are invited to attend and join in the dance or as part of the audience clapping to the lively rhythm of the music.

Family Dance is part of the ongoing exhibition “Peoples of the North—Finland, Scandinavia, Scotland, Ireland & French Canada. Guests are invited to enjoy the exhibits including costume, textiles and traditional folk crafts.

Admission is Adults $5, Seniors $4, Children $3, Members FREE.
The Mariposa is wheelchair accessible.
