Folkway Alum Moe Dixon played the Folkway 17 times after first appearing at the coffeehouse in 1978. He started playing guitar at the age of seven and by his early teens he was performing all over New England. Over the years he has been a solo act and as well as part of Willow, Sunflower, and Rosen Shontz & Dixon. Now dividing his time between Colorado and Oregon, this show is a rare opportunity to see Dixon in the Monadnock Region. His philosophy on life and performing is: “Play the show like it might be your last!”

Dixon will be joined by Freebo, the award winning singer- songwriter known for his solo work and his work with Bonnie Raitt, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Crosby Stills & Nash, Maria Muldaur, Ringo Starr, Michelle Shocked, Neil Young, Loudon Wainwright III, Dr. John, and many others. The Philadelphia Inquirer said “Freebo’s latest CD, Before the Separation, flows with a compassionate spirit rooted in 60’s ideals, packs a gently urgent relevancy, and is delivered with engaging earnestness.”
