Chris Morgan was a favorite performer in the early days of the Folkway in Peterborough. His repertoire includes Irish and Scottish folk songs, and humorous songs by Tom Lehrer, Flanders and Swann, Dave Frishberg, Spike Jones, himself, and many others. Anyone who is allergic to laughter should not come to this show, as the audience is sure to be in stitches throughout the evening. Possibly Chris will threaten to play his rendition of the William Tell Overture on his accordion, though he has been known to abstain from this if he can collect enough of a bribe from the audience.
Chris has been performing in the New England area since the 1970s.. He co-founded The Morgans, a Connecticut-based folk music group with whom he still performs. Based in Boston, he collects and designs puzzles and does landscape photography. His main hobby is living beyond his means.
