julie vallimontThe Monadnock Folklore Society presents the Nelson Second Saturday Contra Dance on October 12th, featuring Dave Eisenstadter with Julie Vallimont, Edward Wallace and David Cantieni.

Dave Eisenstadter learned to call contra dances at the Nelson NH Town Hall and now performs around New England. He is also a journalist began his career writing for the Peterborough NH Ledger-Transcript. He now writes for the Dedham MA Transcript and wickedlocal.com.

Edward Wallace will play vibrant fiddle with pianist Julie Vallimont and David Cantieni on saxophone, flute and clarinet.

Dancing begins at 8:00 PM, with a short workshop beforehand. Beginners and singles are welcome and all dances are taught throughout the evening. Admission is $8 or $6 for students and seniors.
